Mia Takeuchi

Operations Coordinator

Born and raised in the small rural town of Aichi, Japan, Mia decided to move to Vancouver, Canada, to see the world and learn new things.

For her, working in the Tourism Industry has been an absolute adventure where every day is different and brings the opportunity to get to know people from all over the world.

In her spare time, Mia loves playing golf, walking Vancouver's neighborhoods, hiking, looking for wildlife and eating a lot.

What is your favorite place in Canada?

My favorite place in Canada is definitely Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver. There are some really beautiful sunset views from there, and you can enjoy wildlife like seals, beavers and eagles, plus great snacks like ice cream. I absolutely love going down to the beach in my free time and exploring the beautiful nature.

What is your best travel memory in Canada?

One of my best travel memories in Canada has to be my first time visiting Vancouver. I still remember how it felt like I was in the scene of a movie. The beaches are incredible at sunset, the forests are full of amazing species and the restaurants serve some of the best foods from all over the world. Everything I saw in Vancouver at that time impressed me!

What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?

Grab the Niagara Adventure pass and discover those 'bucket list' places in the Niagara Region! It is definitely one thing that I recommend to people who are planning to visit Canada.
