This booking is administered by Discover Holidays Inc., an experienced and trusted tour operator. By paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read and agreed to the terms below.

Alaska Rail Vacations Promotions

Book your 2026 Alaska vacation now and receive 10% off select packages (up to $2,500 per couple) is applicable to select packages only as indicated on our website. Total savings vary by package, departure date, hotel grade, and other factors. Offers are subject to availability for 2026 departures and can be modified, withdrawn, or amended without prior notice.

Secure 2026 Prices for 2027 Departures is a limited-time offer available on select packages and cannot be combined with other promotions. A 10% deposit is due at booking and remains fully refundable if you decide not to travel any time before the tour is confirmed. Availability for your selected dates—and all arrangements—will be confirmed by April 2026, at which time we’ll provide a detailed itinerary and advise if any additional supplier deposits are due. Travel dates are subject to change by 2–4 days due to vendor scheduling. Once the tour is fully confirmed, all deposits become non-refundable. This promotion secures 2026 pricing for your 2027 departure for the arrangements listed on your confirmation and applies in addition to our standard Booking Conditions; where there is a conflict, these promotional terms govern the deposit and refund provisions for this offer.

Pricing and Itineraries

Prices are listed in Canadian (CAD) or U.S. (USD) dollars and include applicable taxes where required. All rates are based on current availability and may change without notice if suppliers update their fees, fuel surcharges, or other cost factors. If a confirmed booking is affected, we will notify you and provide options such as rebooking or cancellation.

Deposits and Payments

• A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking is required at confirmation, along with any supplier deposits noted on your invoice.
• Final payment is due 60 days before departure.
• Bookings made within 60 days require full payment at the time of booking.
• Some suppliers have their own payment policies; these will be communicated at the time of booking.

How to Book & Make Payment

Call your Travel Designer at 1-800-686-1694 to proceed. A secure payment link will be provided. Once payment is received and your booking is confirmed, we will issue your final invoice.

Payment Methods

Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Providing written or verbal authorization confirms your acceptance of these terms.

Wire Transfers: Available for bookings made more than 45 days before departure. Please email proof of transfer on the day it’s sent and include your reservation number, traveller name(s), and total amount paid. All bank fees are the sender’s responsibility.

Travel Documentation

You will receive a PDF itinerary that includes confirmation numbers for each service. Most suppliers do not require vouchers; where a voucher is needed, we will include it at the end of your itinerary.

Unused Services

No refunds are available for unused services. If a traveller does not appear on time for a scheduled service or chooses to cancel or alter their arrangements for any reason, Discover Holidays is not responsible for refunds. This includes situations where a supplier is operating as scheduled but the traveller chooses not to participate, as well as any verbal or informal assurances made directly by service providers.

Responsibility and Liability

Discover Holidays acts as an agent for independent suppliers and is not responsible for their actions or services. We and our suppliers are not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events outside our control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, wildfires, government directives, strikes, pandemics, or public-health emergencies. In such cases, services may be changed or cancelled without liability, and we are not responsible for any related costs.

Changes and Cancellations

All change and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by you or your travel planner and are reviewed during Canadian business days only. If you do not receive a confirmation within two business days, please resend your request.

Change Fees After full payment, most suppliers treat name or date changes as cancellations. A $50 per-person fee applies, plus any supplier penalties or fare differences (which can be up to 100%).

Cancellation Fees • Your 10% deposit is non-refundable.
• Additional supplier cancellation penalties will be listed on your invoice.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Without it, cancellation penalties apply and refunds cannot be issued.

Holland America Cruise • 91+ days: 20% cancellation fee
• 90 days or less: 100% non-refundable
UnCruise Adventures • 91+ days: 20% deposit retained
• 90 - 61 days: 67% non-refundable
• 60 days or less: 100% non-refundable
Alaskan Dream Cruises • 120+ days: 50% of deposit retained
• 119 – 90 days: loss of deposit
• 89 – 61 days: 50% non-refundable
• 60 days or less: 100% non-refundable
