Laura has always connected deeply to nature.
Growing up in Calgary, Alberta, she spent much of her time camping, horseback riding, and enjoying the excitement of rodeos.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys reading, kayaking, trying new restaurants, and attending rodeos whenever she gets the chance.
Board games are another favorite way to relax and connect with others.
She continues to find joy in the little things, whether it’s a peaceful moment on the water, a great meal, or time spent with friends and family.
What is your favorite place in Canada?
This is hard to choose from. I love Vancouver, but Ucluelet has stolen a piece of my heart.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
I was camping in Alberta with my family, in the middle of the prairies. After a day spent at a local rodeo, we spent the evening around the fire. The night sky was so clear that we could see the milky way. It was spectacular.
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?
The Rocky Mountains especially in winter. It’s always stunning, of course, but in the winter it is truly magical.
