Leon moved to Canada in 2021 from Brazil after working in the aviation industry as a flight attendant for 11 years.
After so many years in the industry, he wanted to go back to the ground and focus on his studies, graduating in International Relations with a Major in International Marketing and returning to where it all began in 2010.
Leon loves spending time with his family, playing video games with his friends and going to every lake possible during summertime.
What is your favorite place in Canada?
Vancouver for sure! It’s an incredible mix of city and nature in its best form. Being a multicultural city, it also allows me to try different cuisines and meet people from all around the world while being surrounded by the most beautiful mountains and parks.
What is your best travel memory in Canada?
On my first trip to Victoria, we took the first ferry early in the morning and were blessed by the most beautiful sunrise views. It’s something that I hold really close to my heart and makes me take that same trip over and over again just for the views.
What one thing in Canada should you experience at least once in your life?
The Northern Lights in the Yukon for sure! I have friends that have been there, and they came back mesmerized by how beautiful and incredible the dancing lights are. It has been on my bucket list ever since.
